Your lecturer

Stephan Müller, "Mü"

I studied pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Basel. After my PhD thesis on metabolism I spent a postdoctoral year at the Norwegian Institute for Air Research and developed methods for the quantification of greenhouse gases in arctic air. Then I returned to Switzerland to join the central research units of F. Hoffmann – La Roche AG. I specialized on the development of mass spectrometry applications for various fields in drug discovery.

Currently I am working as freelance expert for mass spectrometry, bioanalysis and as web designer. More about me can be found on his home page smv3.ch and on LinkedIn

My aim is to introduce the students to the industrial working environment not only from scientific, but also from social  viewpoints, to raise awareness on interests and strengths and to help find a good match for a satisfying professional life.
